The beverage industry uses too much plastic
Every year, 400 million tons of plastic are produced of which 40% is disposable. These include plastic bags, many beverage packaging and potato chip bags. One of the largest industries using disposable plastics is the beverage industry.
Bottles are not efficient in logistics
The shape of plastic bottles is inefficient for transport. There is a lot of empty space between the bottles, which means that one truck can hold fewer bottles. This results in more transportation, which has a negative impact on the environment
User friendliness
Carrying large amounts of large plastic bottles from the store can be challenging and frustrating. Large bottles don't fit all refrigerators and to fill a glass with a drink, the bottle must first be removed from the refrigerator. We try to solve this problem with our packaging.
Plastic bottles end up in landfills and the environment
Even though plastic bottles are made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which is highly recyclable, most plastic bottles produced end up in landfills, nature or in the ocean. Microplastic in nature is ingested by birds, fish and other organisms causing problems for all living things.
Plastic bottles increase waste disposal traffic
Used bottles cause a lot of waste traffic even if they are crashed or part of a circulating system. Empty bottles still take a lot of space when they are transported to landfill or further handling.
The negative impact of humans on the environment
People have a negative impact on the environment in many ways: overpopulation, pollution, using fossil fuels, and deforestation. Things lead to climate change, soil erosion, poor air quality and undrinkable water.
