We aim to make a difference

Our company was founded because we believe there is an obligation to reduce the environmental impact that the beverage packing industry has on the global environment.

plastics are bad for nature

This is happening right now.

The problem with plastic bottles

Plastic pollution is one of the biggest problems facing our planet right now. Around the world beverages are traditionally stored and consumed from plastic bottles. Globally 560 milj. liters of bottled water is sold every day mainly in the developed countries. These bottles find their way into the nature mainly due to a lack of efficient recycling infrastructure and knowledge of the problem.

Single use plastic bottles cause major problems to our planets wildlife. It has been estimated that 8 million tons of plastic ends up in the oceans alone, per year. Plastic bottles never bio-degrade and they stay in nature for hundrends of years releasing toxic micro particles that are harmfull to wildlife in all levels of the food web and humans.

Things don't have to be this bad.

Our company cannot fix everything, but we can help the beverage industry to move in a more sustainable direction. This will make a big difference.

This is what we are trying to fix

Beverage industry uses too much plastic

Every year, 400 million tons of plastics are produced of which 40% is for single-use. Single-use plastics are, for example, plastic bags, many beverage packages, and crisp packets. One of the largest consumer of plastics is the beverage industry.

Bottles are not efficient in logistics

The shape of plastic bottles are ineffective when transporting water. There will be lot of empty space between the bottles which mean more transportation which means more pollution.

Bottles are not efficient in use

Carrying large amounts of plastic bottles from the store can be difficult and inefficient. The larger bottles don't fit all refrigerators and to fill a glass with a drink, the bottle must first be removed from the refrigerator. We try to solve this problem with our packaging.

Plastic bottles end up in landfills and the environment

Even though the plastic bottles used for soft drinks and water are made from polyethylene terephthalate (Pet), which is highly recyclable, most plastic bottles produced end up in landfill or in the ocean. Micro plastic in the sea is ingested by birds, fish and other organisms causing problems for all living things.

Plastic bottles increase waste disposal traffic

Used bottles cause a lot of waste traffic even if they are crashed or part of circulating system. Empty bottles still need a lot of space when they are transported to landfill or further handling.

The negative impact of humans on the environment

Humans impact the environment in many ways: overpopulation, pollution, burning fossil fuels, and deforestation. Changes like these have triggered climate change, soil erosion, poor air quality and undrinkable water.

NWB Bevel

NWB Bevel package fixes the biggest problems in usability, logistics and recycling

NWB packaging has 72% less plastic than PET bottles

Easy recycling leads to considerably less garbage disposal traffic compared with PET bottles. The plastic required to produce NWB packaging is 72% less than PET alternatives.

NWB packaging is 35% more efficient in space utilization than current PET bottles

The new NWB packaging is logistically more efficient than PET bottles in warehousing and transportation due to maximum utilisation of the pallet space. For example, this cuts transportation costs and required storage space up to 35% compared to PET bottles.

NWB packaging can reduce waste transportation by up to 90%

NWB Package is easy to dispose of. You just remove the bag from the box. The bags are light and the volume is much less than a bottle. The box can be folded and circulated after use. There is no packaging waste from secondary packaging or additional in-between support materials on a pallet.

NWB packaging is more efficient to produce

NWB packaging is designed with the modular approach: two matching packs form a 2-pack unit, which is stackable and fills the euro-pallet perfectly. There is no need for secondary cardboard box as in traditional BiB packaging. This makes the production line simpler and faster.

NWB packaging is less toxic to environment

The new NWB packaging uses less plastic and is easy to recycle. Due to this the packaging is also less toxic to the environment

NWB packaging is easier to use than traditional plastic bottles

All sizes for NWB packages also fit easily in the fridge, keeping the liquid cooler and easy to use straight from the shelf.

NWB Bevel package (BiB) has the lowest carbon footprint compared to other alternatives
